Resource Alert: Neurodiversity & Nature Connection

We're stoked to share our latest drop of Learning Pods education resources!

Based on stories from Episode 4 of The Seed Pod (podcast) with Spencer Potbury, these resources focus on freshwater ecosystems, macroinvertebrates, passion mapping, vision plans and goals.

We are particularly excited to share our macroinvertebrates game, which simulates sampling in the field, and aims to help introduce students to the Macroinvertebrate Community Index (MCI) which can be used as a tool to indicate waterway health through data collection and maths. This goes hand-in-hand with our river ecosystems tohu/signs activity for healthy and unhealthy waterway.

Our vision planning and passion mapping activities engage students through artistic mediums, helping students to connect their nature passions, skills, goals, and visions.
