Planting for our Baby

Planting our pēpi's umbilical cord in our mārā/garden. We didn't keep Cubby's whenua/placenta, so we decided this would be our way to bring her whenua to the whenua/land. We picked her out a beautiful plant to admire as she grows. We think she has red hair, so this plant is a beautiful auburn red/orange coprosma 😍 Our mārā is home to a range of native plants, wildflowers, and ferns from our wedding and significant life events/memories. We have planted a whole range of daffodil bulbs too, which we knew would start popping up when Cubby arrived! They're a couple of weeks away now
